FAQ

Payment

What is your session fee?

My rate is $150 for a 50-minute therapy session. I have some, limited sliding scale spaces that are subject to need and availability.

What form of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, all major credit cards, debit cards, Health Spending Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and mobile payment methods such as Venmo and PayPal. You will be charged the day of your session.

Insurance

Do you accept insurance?

I can provide “out of network” coverage. This means at the time of your session, I will charge the card on file for the full session fee. You will then receive a Superbill. You submit the Superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement. The rates for reimbursement vary, which is why it is important to talk to your insurance company. I know this can be confusing, so I’m happy to answer any questions or offer support through the process.

How can I find out if my insurance has out-of-network coverage?

You might want to ask your insurance company: Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services? Do I have an out-of-network deductible? What level of reimbursement do you provide? What do you consider a customary fee to be?

Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. In the event you do not give 24 hours notice, you will be charged for the full price of the session. If I am able to reschedule your appointment within the same week, there is no fee.
